The ‘erb’ icon Howard Marks has sadly lost his fight with colon cancer. Marks first shot to fame after the release of his book ‘Mr Nice’ which details his exploits as an international cannabis smuggler. He continued his success as an author until his unfortunate death in the early hours of 10th April 2016.
Marks studied Physics at the University of Oxford before his career in the weed game. Originally from Kenfig Hill in Wales, he shipped up to 30 tonnes at a time at his peak before he was busted and sentenced to 25 years in jail (thanks to the DEA), of which he spent 7 years. Upon his release, he published ‘Mr Nice’ in 1996.
Marks was known for his intellect and charming personality. His insights into financial matters, science, social engineering, and drugs legislation has made him a respected cultural icon in his own right. Its with fair certainty that on this 4:20 the world will salute Howard Marks in a true stoner fashion.
So smoke ‘em if you got ‘em! We salute you, Howard Marks.
